Hi there!
I've been messing around with watercolors last night, strange sensation, I'm not used to have a real brush in my hand... (except while inking but it's ways different ^^')
I'll try to do more of these, I did not expect that it was this different from digital painting, I mean using watercolor is quite close from my usual ps painting method but the differences are mainly in the sensations, maybe because the painting is real, I can touch it... ^^ dunno...
so, there it is!

well, a little sketch of a toad we can't see anymore (thanks mankind!!)
just some pencil and photoshop, really quickly done...
(the shoulders look strange but the picture I used as reference was taken with a flash light and it was difficult to catch a light source and the toad looks actually like this)

Here is a speed painting done late last night and that turned quite well, I guess.
A modest tribute quickly done (less than one hour of work) to a quite well-known character!!

Hi there!
Back after a few days uh...
sorry for that, my computer died a few weeks ago and... you know... the time to find a new one... ^^

So, here is a quick portrait of my personnal mystical being (Baci Hachi! hope you don't mind...^^), some things have to be changed here and there (the hair for example), but I hope it's going well...

Long train running...

A quick sketch done in the train somewhere between Nantes and Paris and quickly coloured with photoshop... As you can see, once again it's something about daisies, butterflies and happiness... ^^

I feel sorry for the lack of new things... I'm quite busy...
But here is a piece with the influence of a famous concept artist, this could be considered as a study... I've learned a lot of stuff with this work and I'm sure it will be very positive for the next ones...

Flattening of emotions...

Well, today this blog is one year old... nothing special but a quick relaxing doodle done late at night after a hard working day... it's cool to let the hand talk by itself sometimes...
And, in a way, I 'm quite happy with what I've done with the values here, it looks like I'm starting to understand a few things... quite cool...
pfiou... one year... I wonder how the guy I was one year before will react if he was discovering the (I hope real) evolution in the drawings... probably surprised...

Another Hand, the killing hand...

This is the first time I do that kind of 4 hands drawings, well, the first time I paint someone else's drawing... The original drawing was made by Awk (check this out!!)
It was really interesting and I've learned a lot of new stuffs with this exercise...
I think I'll do it again, it's strangely relaxing...
(just have to find the time...)

Slightly all the time...

A Druillet-like speed painting (less than one hour I guess...) done to study interactions between background and subject... Dunno if I'm done with that background stuff, if you have any tips to help me to stop outlining things... thanks a lot!! :-D
