This one was done today, as a warm-up (it explains the simplicity of the composition), but I feel so good with this tool, it's like I can't stop using it 'til I'm happy with my picture...

I'm not at all in that kind of superheroes stuff, but Magneto seems to be an interesting and complex character.
The blades were quickly done at the end of the drawing to make it a little more narrative.

I See... I See Monsters...

Hi there!
First of all, thanks a million for your appreciated comments and support for the last artworks!

So, here we have a strange composition of strange quickly done 'brainless' recent sketches, I'm in a kind of deep see monsters period, so...
Maybe I should try to correct and paint it...
I hope i'll find some time to do and post some inked cool stuff soon.

And as promised, the explanation for the last artwork. I was trying to do something "centered", and try new things while painting and it was like this sketches composition, just several elements mixed to give the illusion of some symbolic stuff hidden in it, there is no messages or stuffs in it, just the theory that, like we talked with Dio once, the less we understand what we see, the most we seem to like it. Let me know what do you think about this, I'll be curious to know your opinions.

Soul Groove...

Hi all!
sorry for the lack of updates but I'm currently extreeeeeemely busy.... (but it's ok! ^^), no real time to draw, so, some insignificant speed-pantings (from 5 minutes to 1 hour...) done recently, and for once, I start to be happy with my clouds!

Fountainhead...

A little speed painting, more or less 1 hour on PS for it.
It's disturbing to see that things done this fast are often more efficient than illustrations that sometimes need several days to be done...
and to see that it's the same pleasure all the time! ^^

Hi all, it's been a little while...
So here is a little Starwars "recreation"
I've been working on it something like 20 minutes every day since a few days, I think I'll not work this way again...
I also tried to change things, on the background for example, something more relaxed and a lot less detailed with painter, foreground with photoshop.

here is the 'doodle' I've done tonight in a little less than 3 hours I guess...
just took some pictures for models, some Pink Floyd sounds flowing in the whole place and let's go!
that was a really fun and relaxing thing to do, I think I should do more exercises like this.

Hi there!
I've been messing around with watercolors last night, strange sensation, I'm not used to have a real brush in my hand... (except while inking but it's ways different ^^')
I'll try to do more of these, I did not expect that it was this different from digital painting, I mean using watercolor is quite close from my usual ps painting method but the differences are mainly in the sensations, maybe because the painting is real, I can touch it... ^^ dunno...
so, there it is!

well, a little sketch of a toad we can't see anymore (thanks mankind!!)
just some pencil and photoshop, really quickly done...
(the shoulders look strange but the picture I used as reference was taken with a flash light and it was difficult to catch a light source and the toad looks actually like this)
